2019-07-10 17:17:15 +0000 UTCActually multiple character, like sloth, pride and "the woman in the north" 'wink, wink'. It does give some indication on what will happen in the show, i would wait with the opening until they reveal pride in the show.

2019-07-10 12:40:35 +0000 UTCSo... Not sure if you got that, but the woman Hohenheim was drinking with at the beginning of the episode 27 is Pinako Rockbell, Winry's grandma (yeah, the short one). Or, at least, the image of her when she was young. You already saw her in episode 20, in one picture with Hohenheim and her (with the former looking exactly the same as he is right now, while she has obviously aged). Also, the little girl that wanted to dance with him and the teen at the end of the episode that encouraged him to keep fighting, are all supposed to be the same person: his wife, Trisha (and Ed and Al's mom, of course), at different stages of her life. Episode 27 is mostly a recap that helps you tie up everything that has happened until then in your mind. And, what's not recap, it's 100% filler, but a really good one, that might be confusing the first time you watch it, but it has more sense as you progress. Lastly... The epic scene at the ending of the episode 26, with Ed punching the door to give hope to his brother is half filler. In the manga, Ed says all of that to Al's body before the door gets closed. In the anime, they decided to do it like this, to give that scene more impact. I personally love it, and I've seen many people saying that Arakawa, the author, loved it too, though I'm not sure if that's true or not.

2019-07-10 12:31:28 +0000 UTCThe only thing the opening spoils is a character reveal, but you won't even know who the character is until that point in the show anyway, so, not really. Still, maybe best to avoid it for about 5 or so episodes, just to completely avoid spoiler risks.

I am not going to overact and be that reactor that overhypes serious things for no reason and shout "OH MY GOD BROOO COOL WOW AWESOME" yes in fight scenes those get me really hyper but in serious moments of course I am going to focus more and take in the content over screaming and faking my reaction. That doesn't mean I am not enjoying the show. And plus this show has a lot of info to take in. I don't get why people are coming to this conclusion.
