What I'm trying to say by that is that you shouldn't expect him to be full of different gears, like it's some sort of unlimited power-ups like you see in some other anime

Just so you understand gears, they're not simple power-ups, there is an explanation to them: - Gear 2: Luffy pumps blood into his veins, it makes his blood and so his metabolism faster, upgrading his abilities - Gear 3: Luffy blows into his bones, making them huge which in turn expands his arms/legs/body - Gear 4: Luffy blows into his MUSCLES, expending them and increasing his strength in the process Makes sense? :3

Totally agree that there are cooler enemies except Doflamingo is a rare "villain" among One Piece enemies. Most other antagonists are simply on opposite sides of a disagreement with the Straw Hats. Doflamingo, however, actually wants to destroy the world of OP as we know it. He's pretty much the only one whose real motive is to achieve pure chaos.

LMAO, I don’t know if it was a coincidence or something. Right when Jamie finished saying Luffy is getting BIGGER, it show the flashback with Rayleigh saying it’ll be HARDER. Luffy actually doesn’t kill any of his villains. Oda, said in an interview that Luffy doesn’t kill because to him that’s letting the villains off too easy and he would rather them live with the embarrassment of having been defeated by him and destroying their beliefs and ideals.

Don't worry Jamie. There are still plenty of great villains ahead. In fact there is one villain who I think is (and I know many people might hate me for this) slightly cooler than Doflamingo. I know it's hard to imagine but that's my opinion.

what r u talking about? gear 3rd is body shrinkage, 4th is not able to use haki for 10 minutes and unable to move for a while. What else do u want the power down to be?

From a creative side, my only issue with Gear 4th is that the power down is so similar to Gear 3rd. I do like that that power up through the muscles for Gear 4th. (Gear 2nd was through blood, and Gear 3rd was through bones.) What make the Gears so special before was that the power up and power down were so different. Oda couldn't come up something different for the weakness of Gear 4.

You should react to the next 5 episodes up to and including 739, it's just a great block to end on. Also as other people have mentioned don't even listen to the title being announced in the episode. Don't know if 5 episodes is too much but ending at 739 would be great

Fun fact: in the manga Luffy one shot Doflamingo, there was no power struggle like in the anime.

Actually there was not the cheery stuff while Luffy attacked with King Kong gun in the manga, it was a straight forward shot without doffy being able to tank it for a second

I'm not sure if someone else mentioned it but the problem with the title for 739 is that you can understand what it says without any translation and it will kinda ruin the episode so it'd be great if you're careful with it :)

King Kong Gun was the biggest fuck-up this arc. There was no clash, Mingo was just sent to the ground. You can't tell me Mingo stopped the initial force the attack had and Luffy somehow managed to push even "harder", that's bs. You probably already figured out Gear Fourth is like a spring, with how he compresses his body parts to generate immense potential energy.
