I wish the subtitles weren't so terrible. First with the Gum-Gum nonsense and then 'Fourth Gear' instead of 'Gear Fourth'. When you read Gear first and then a pause then Fourth, it's so much more impactful

I remember reading that chapter in the manga. I was genuinely afraid that they'd simply give Luffy a sharpening of the senses and speed and attribute it to emotions. And then, a speech bubble in the darkness... "GEAR..... FOURTH." I yelled out loud.
