I totally agree to that! I love the big Arcs in One Piece a lot, alone because of all the characters and their stories and how Luffy always brings most of them together to fight! Whole Cake Island is an amazing Arc too!

At least some people out there feeling the same 😭 i love Dressrosa Arc so much and rewatching it now again with these reactions make me realize that the pace really isn't that bad at all! It's just very long and the fight against Mingo is maybe a bit too stretched but that's all.

It would've been nice if you watched Version 1 of Opening 17 too, there were different scenes in the second part of Version 1. The reason why Blackbeard is always showing up is because he is like the main Villain and Archenemy to Luffy, of course. They didn't fight Air in Opening 18, it was just to show off their moves and it looks like they did it in the air but that doesn't have to mean much. You could say they fought against "the person who watches the Video" or its from the first Person view of an enemy.

It's sad when an arc ends coz you miss the environment and the people but this is Oda we're talking about. It only gets better and he makes you feel like these people are somewhere having their own adventures even after the arc ends. Next arcs are EVEN better. I don't even know how he does it.

For me, OP 18 still holds the mantle of the best opening in the series so far. Obviously, OP 1 song is still a classic and I hope they bring it back whenever the final arc eventually does come.

It's funny, isn't it? Week-to-week, as fans we want to watch as much as possible. But when you can watch the entire Arc without limits, it dawns on you... how sad it will be when its over!! Because all good things must come to an end. It really puts things into perspective. Now, luckily for SMF, there's an ENTIRE new arc waiting for her to watch/enjoy after this Dressrosa one. Which means by the time that one finishes, the next current arc all of us are caught-up on will be nearing its climax. But until that day comes, it's best to enjoy at your own pace, in a style that won't get your channel targeted. (And hey, once we're caught up, there's always Gintama as a long series to look forward to :P )

Also, Hard Knock Days is infamous for being that one piece song ppl hated at first but grew to love the more it was played,especially with how long the parts of the arc it plays in lasts when watching weekly lol

I understand the decision to slow down, I've been realizing you're relatively close to catching up to the anime as well, not to mention the issues Toei is giving you, it's understandable. You can watch other stuff in the meantime, like finishing Bebop lol. You can legit do the rest of the show by the end of in a month if you continue with 2 EPs a reaction lol

18 is to me, amongst the worst three. Part of it is because of being forced to hear it on a weekly basis during one of the most slowly paced arcs as well as the longest arc of One Piece. But years afterward, I still really don't care for this one. What I do know, though, more than opinion is that one of the upcoming openings is going to change your life.

Take your time I personally don't mind. After Dressrossa it'll really hit you, you'll almost catch up I recommend you take it really slow and add new anime to your list. Dr.Stone is coming up next month, the manga is great and from the trailers the anime looks really good.
