In response to your question about Robin having brown eyes in the movies: she has brown eyes in the manga, but they were changed to blue in the anime. I've always thought that her eye color was changed in the anime to differentiate her a bit more from Nami (because Nami also has brown eyes).

Great reaction SMF! 2 things: firstly, during the credits those pictures of kids were drawn by Oda. He starts with the Garp and the admirals as kids, then the shichibukai and supernovas as kids and then finishes with the crew. Secondly, PLEASE PLEASE don't worry about your AC so much. I've never heard it once and it's honestly more annoying to hear my Alexa act up every time you tell yours to LOL.

SMF, die hard fan doesn't = knowing the Japanese pronunciation of a word or name correctly. Unless he speaks and pronounces Japanese or Korean well, I wouldn't be sure if it was correct but it could be close. Just do the best you can, and don't worry about all those trying to teach u how to pronounce it.

Took you a bit to catch on to the child versions in the credits :D the first ones were Garp and other navy admirals and so on. As far as i know they are all "official" in a movie way because Oda designed them of course.

That's because Oda wrote Zephyr's backstory (as well as design the character). And volume 1000 isn't an 'art pamphlet'. It's a book filled with information from Oda (with drafts, notes, parts of storyboards, character designs), and most the 'art' are the character design sheets Oda drew. It's completely different from an artbook (like the colourwalks that is literally colourspreads). Aside from the 'world of film z' pages (the ones filled with movie screenshots), sections showing merch, and the page for stamps, and a few character designs that clearly name someone other than Oda, everything there is info/designs Oda contributed to the film. That's not to say anything in volume 1000 is canon, but it's certainly a lot more than an 'art pamphlet'. If anything, it's an unofficial databook with debateable canon status (since most of the stuff in there comes directly from Oda).

In regards to Robins eyes, Oda always meant for her eyes to be dark. You can see this in the color pages of the manga. But for some reason the animation crew gave her blue eyes. Since Oda had more input on the movies, they were made dark as originally intended. Also, you can just call him Kuzan now, he gave up the name "aokiji" after leaving the navy.

warlords are all invited by the navy but you have to be strong and have clout in the world ace before he joined wb crew was invited to be a warlord but he turned it dow and buggys one now because his past on rogers ship makes him super famous and everyone is mistakenly thinking he super strong because of it

Great reaction! I always forget just how awesome Film Z is. It's not adventure-focused like Strong World but it definitely explores other themes and is definitely one of the best animated One Piece things ever. You know they put a long of work into the art and direction of it. Just outstanding. Zephyr himself is such an interesting character and I agree! It's so sad what happened at the end but I think it was the best case scenario. He was an idealistic young boy that protected the weak and became a Marine, and even throughout his family being murdered and his own crew being murdered, he remained with the Marines until the World Government decided to invite the very pirate that committed those crimes to become a Warlord. Probably made the dude crazy. But in the same time, in the movie, the Marines were trying to stop him because of the high civilian casualties. It's just so nice to think of the morality as one-sided but it never really is like that.

There’s a lot of debate on the canonity of Zephyr. Here’s a breakdown: The movies are generally non-canon. Strong World is not canon, but the back story of Shiki is canon. This is evident from the release of Chapter 0 (which was released alongside an official chapter in Weekly Shonen Jump), and also Oda states that Shiki is a canon character in an SBS (which is basically a Q&A type forum that is included in every volume of One Piece). Now for Film Z, the movie is definitely not canon, but a lot of people tend to think Zephyr’s backstory is canon. The reason for this is because there was something called “Volume 1000” that includes Zephyr that was handed out with the movie. Something to note, however, is that Volume 1000 isn’t an actual “Volume”, but rather an art pamphlet. So whether one treats this as a piece of canon material or not, is up to their discretion. It should also be noted that Zephyr has never been mentioned in any SBS.

Ah man this is so frustrating got 3/4 through the movie before I was told I had to go pro to finish! Plus the Google quota has already been reached. Just goes to show how awesome and popular Jamie's reactions are. Keep up the good work girl. I guess I'll just finish it later(Heavy Sigh)

P.S. In case you hadn't picked up on it yet, the guy who voices Aokiji (Kuzan) is the same for Dio in Jojo. Just food for thought. Takehito Koyasu is his name. Look him up if you like. He has a long resume.

For most of the people Z and Strong World are the best movie , and Gold is the 3rd. For me Z is the n°1 , it's just an incredible movie.
