Could it be that the people in question either didn't properly renew (not enough money on their account, issues with their bank, etc) or patreon haven't processed their renewal yet? I've had a month before (wasn't a patreon of you back then yet tho) when I only got confirmation for renewal on the 4th of the month. If that's not their issue, it's probably some trouble with patreon and they should directly contact them for support.
