Makes sense but other factors do play like Luffy being oblivious about girls and all makes it more shown that Luffy looks at a person for who they are. Like if you said if Sanji was the one to instead go to Amazon Lily and meet Boa Hancock, he would instantly die and turned to stone because he would act like every man that she has met in the past so it wouldn't be any different and she wouldn't have fallen in love with Sanji. The reasons why Hancock loves Luffy is because he sees as any normal person, not a hot women to get at, Luffy just sees her as anyone else because Luffy doesn't discriminate towards people, Luffy is a free person that's who he has. He wouldn't care for what you did in the past or anything, he sees you for who you are right now and in the future.

Oda-san had confirmed that when Hancock was sneaking Luffy onto the battleship, he was not hiding under her cloak, he was hiding under her dress. Clarifying something that you probably know but just in case you might have missed it, the navy are just a part of the World Government, so if there is a war and if Whitebeard wins, we would only destroy one branch of the WG, the navy, still that would be devastating for them.

2019-01-31 02:10:38 +0000 UTCI can see how you might find Hancock's feelings towards Luffy as a bit weird, but remember that it's not JUST because he was nice to her, plenty of men have probably been nice to her. Out of every man she's ever met though, Luffy is the only one who is so genuine and kind to her, actually trying to understand her by her actions. He's not just nice to her because she's beautiful and he wants to tap that, but because that's who he is. As proven by the fact that her ability didn't affect him, lust wasn't the first thing he felt when he saw her. That's basically completely unique to Luffy as far as she knows.

The pirates are the bad guys, we just follow the story of a pirate that does the right thing. Because Luffy fights the main bad guys (other pirates) and some Navy at times people often hate on what most Navy decisions. Just a fyi.
