If you're planning on doing Food Wars (61) episodes, you might as well do Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (64 episodes) since it was the second most voted series. Or if you want something shorter, something like Konosuba or Youjo Senki would be great too :)

It's fine to diversify. Just understand HXH is far off of completion. The anime stops abruptly. Seems tied, but manga is still ongoing. People say HXH is short. It's shorter than long running anime like OP and Naruto, but that's due to the manga writer having health issues. He takes long breaks frequently.

I mean, I love One Piece and sincerely every time a One Piece manga chapter comes out I read it ASAP, the HxH chapters are kinda hard to read, but if I had to compare the any 150 OP anime chapters with the HxH anime, I'd say HxH is far superior

Just letting you know that food wars isn't really as short as you think. It has over 60 episodes and will likely keep on getting 24-26 episode seasons, so it's not really a short anime.

True. And that's why so many people have a different favourite anime. Some people's favourite anime aren't even popular. For a lot of people, their favourite anime isn't necessarily the one they think is the best (like many others, SMF's is probably DBZ). Whether or not she thinks one series is better than another is one thing, but which one she will like more is another thing. And I personally think that since she loves everything about One Piece, it would be hard for anything that's not DB to top it.

True, it's just a matter of taste. That is why the anime industry and actually any entertainment industry are so varied in content, because some people enjoy one thing and other people enjoy other things. In order for the world to be world, there has to be diversity.

I dunno. We can argue which is better all day, but at the end of the day it'll probably be which anime appeals to her more as a person, based on her personal taste. And for me, I think One Piece is right up her alley in pretty much every aspect. I mean the adventure, the character relationships, the comedy/whackiness, the cuteness, the emotional stuff, the action are things she loves. She even loves the fillers and everything else people say is 'bad' or not as good, and doesn't find any of the straw hats annoying like some people do. She didn't seem to have any trouble with one piece's artstyle like a lot of people did too. She may even think that Hunter x Hunter is objectively better than One Piece, but may still like One Piece more, because there are more aspects that she likes about it, and is more appealing to her in general.

I mean that's fair enough, the adaptation for one piece is certainly lacking after episode 500 or so. I still consider it one with the manga though, and rate it as a whole series. (I've watched one piece 16 times and stay current on the manga...own the manga through dressrosa, so I'm a bit obsessed :P) But yes, she will see for herself :)

Since hunter x hunter has around 150 episodes, I assume that will be 3 episodes per video like one piece?

FLCL would be good if you haven't seen it. It's only 6 episodes and it's up there in terms of iconic anime everyone should see. (And also super weird)

I really like food wars, but it's not really short. If you want something short and silly, than you definitly have to watch KonoSuba! Two seasons with 12 episodes each. Imo it's the best comedy anime in the last couple of years!

Oh I used to think like you my friend, One Piece was one of the greatest things that ever happened to anime. But seeing how it is now, the animation sucks and the episodes are so dragged out, I just can't watch it anymore. So I just moved to the manga, which is great and stopped wasting my time with the anime. But with HxH not only is the adaptation great, but the quality increases as the show progresses. Maybe that is why I changed favorites, plus I have seen HxH like 7 times now completely and every time I watch it I understand certain things better and I fall in love more and more every time with it, maybe after watching One Piece completely again I change my mind, doubt it though.

Yes!! HxH best anime ever! I am sure you will like it a lot, maybe more than One Piece. You will see just how complex the power system is and the writing and animation are just amazing! BTW be careful with putting this anime on Youtube since it has a lot of copyright issues, I have seen many youtubers discontinue the uploads over there because they might lose their channel. Also, I would greatly appreciate it, that you don't tweak the video too much just so that it can be uploaded on Youtube. I would like to be able to enjoy the rection and not have to worry about not hearing anything of the episode or that the image has a weird filter. This is my favorite anime ever and I would like to relive those days of watching HxH for the first time through you. You are an amazing reactor and even if you have to make HxH a Patreon Exclusive I am sure many people will come over here to watch you react to such a great series. Very excited to watch this anime again for the 8th time. It never gets old.

Food Wars is not really short though, it's 61 episodes for all the seasons and even the first one has 24. But another series would be nice. :D
