uryu joining yhwach is such a strange development to me. the way I see it, there are only two or three outcomes, and they're both kinda disappointing: 1. uryu really is joining yhwach and his friends and family mean nothing to him. while something like this *can* happen, they didn't really build up to it at all. one minute he's chilling with his friends in ichigo's bedroom, the next minute he's abandoning them. 2. uryu is going undercover to get close to yhwach to kill him. this would mean that yhwach is dumb enough to not see through him. that just makes for a disappointing villain, especially considering he's supposed to be a "god". I suppose there is always a third option: 3. uryu is going undercover to get close to yhwach to kill him, AND yhwach knows this but either is too arrogant to care, or thinks it can help him somehow. the "too arrogant to care" thing was already done with the aizen storyline, so hopefully they don't repeat it. in any case, definitely curious to see how this plays out!
