2023-06-07 06:07:43 +0000 UTCOne thing that helps with the end of the series is that the anime had taken a two year hiatus between the last arc and this arc. By the time they had began airing these episodes, the manga had already finished. So, the final arc of the series doesn't have to deal with the padding that they've had to do with other parts of the series and that's why it feels like they are getting right into things.

Also, I find it hilarious how all these Zeref cults over the whole series think he's some super evil edge lord god that gets summoned by extreme evil...and the dude's chill af most of the time.

Like they have cars and other technology (tho most of it is magic powered). But yeah the smartphone introduction this season really threw me off
