I think the whole demon form is more her embracing her past than being a literal demon, kinda like how chopper has embraced being a monster. also the dark colouration was more obviously haki in the manga, which is why she was so tired because full body haki is draining

She isn't actually a demon, she used her devil fruit to create that form, along with armament haki. That's why she looked so dark and had the horns and wings etc.

I don't think it's meant like people knew she was a demon. Instead since she was always called a demon that's why she became one. Referring to what she said in this episode where she told Black Maria "And for those people, I would even turn into a demon!"

Robin chwaaaaannn. I felt like a kid on Christmas day during 1044. I'm glad they played Robin's OST for once. I think the last time they used it was back in Dressrosa when she caught Hakuba. Brook's ice attacks looking hella clean too! 1044 was just a W all around.

And no one in the crew new about the demon form Devil fruit power of hers and the only reason brook didn’t interfere in the fight was Oda showing that the straw hat Pirates have faith in their friends fights.

Robin's VA killed it in this episode. That "Demonio Fluer" line gives me chills. Also I think Robin's demon form is just her using her ability like how she makes a giant hand, etc. She just moulds a clone body out of body parts to look how she wants. Or maybe she moulded it around herself idk but thats my assumption. I don't think she's actually a demon, but who knows!
