Cyberpunk Edgerunners DUB OR SUB
Added 2022-10-01 02:00:01 +0000 UTCSo CURRENTLY I have watched up to ep 2 (not 3 🤣), I wasn't aware of a dub I rewatched ep 1 in dub and it was pretty good. BUT I wanted to do a poll cause a lot of people are saying to switch to dub. Also doing a poll on YT just so I can see an overall majority.

The only reason that I say to go dub is because the Dub has a bunch of accents that tell you where a character is from and what kind of life they lived whereas you don't get that in Subs. You lose things like David's mom peppering her speech with a little Spanish since she's Hispanic for example

2022-10-01 05:44:10 +0000 UTCI watched the subs, but I read ridiculously fast when I'm focused. Even still there were a few conversations where I missed a few words because they show up super fast and then disappear, and one character has a really weird speech pattern which gets confusing. I think they should have stuck with subtitles on the the bottom of the screen. That said, Dub sounds great for a second viewing from my perspective and seems like it would be way easier and require less pausing. I feel like it's basically 100% impossible if you don't know Japanese to follow the text and react to what's happening without rewatching things. It's just really hectic.

Unless it’s natively English and has a Japanese dub. Like I said, I’ve only heard about it, never checked it. Now I will.
