Tbh, she didnt understand what happened at all. In fact, it has nothing to do with Dragon Ball Z, in this Wano arc of anime, every time Luffy uses the conquerors haki, he shoots golden light from his eyes. She didn't realize this foreshadowing. In addition, in the clash between Roger and Whitebeard in episode 965, neither of them touched each other. She also completely forgot about it. How can I put it, the reaction to this episode was really bad. When something she didn't understand happened, she didn't plan to analyze it at all, and it was her most complacent thing to just attribute the reason to the animation plagiarism of DBZ.

2022-08-08 02:41:53 +0000 UTCluffy just realize another level of conqueror haki because of the last attack kaido did. He infused his conqueror haki into his blow. Advanced conqueror haki i guess. He was saying ryou aramanent haki was to shallow was not enough to damage kaido. So there is another level to conqueror haki , not just the basic one that makes people faint due to will power. Thats what im getting out of this episode. Hope you realized that too :)

2022-08-07 20:08:15 +0000 UTCJust in case you didn't get it, Luffy was saying to kaido that he infuses his attacks with conquerors haki, and kaidou said only handful can do it, so all that gold stuff was luffy coating his attack on conqueror haki, the bit at the end where law says he didn't touch him, he was referring to luffys punches not touching Kaidou body directly

I would say the next episode will make it make more sense to people... But uhh... Filler arc.. >_< Idk if Jami would want it to be explained what actually happened here so ima just stay quiet

2022-08-07 18:20:30 +0000 UTCThis is one of the Anime's problems, I think she didn't even realize that they were using the King's Haki in the blows.. or thinking that Luffy could really defeat Kaido there with so much still to happen, thats why follow up weekly and theorize is so important. .and in the anime unfortunately you can't participate in it because of spoilers.
