2022-01-30 02:49:55 +0000 UTCIf you are talking about those "ghost like" dolls she was seen making in some flashbacks those are "Teru teru bōzu" which are a traditional Japanese "talisman" that are supposed to have magical powers to bring good weather and to stop or prevent a rainy day. They weren't to ease herself but because she desperately wished for the rain to stop so she could live a normal life.

Most of the one shot episodes are actually based off one shot manga chapters that Hiro Mashima made. While these are not numbered chapters of Fairy Tail so that's why they are considered filler, they are still canon stories made by the Fairy Tail creator.
