By that logic isn't it also true that Luffy is nowhere near 100%? He was kept as a slave for days, wore SPS the whole time and forced to fight for hours at a time with no break, all while getting minimal food and then with virtually no down time went right to war, where he fought through the Beast Pirates, including against some Tobi Roppo, all before even seeing Kaido. The same can be said for when he went up against Doffy and Katakuri. You're looking at it all one sided, but there are two sides to every coin. Even so, based on how hyped up Kaido is, I never thought Luffy should be able to take him out 1v1 anyway. Ever since Kid was shown in Wano, I thought it should be Luffy, Law and Kid taking Kaido out together
