Just let them figure it out when it catches up to the light novel haha. Although, I feel like most people should try to catch the different in visual detail instead of assuming lol That I'll agree with

Neither Chloe's eyes nor hair color are the same as Shizu I will never understand why so many think they look the same we even see a young Shizu as part of her story. They are just both female with dark-colored hair.

Everyone reacter comes to the conclusion that Chloe is Shizu reincarnated despite that being impossible. Chloe was already 8 when Shizu died and Shizus's story shows that time between our world and there's flows equally.

If you look at Tensura as a typical isekai with hero's journey then you'll disappointed. Or if you think its supposed to be a progression in power like typical Shounen...its not. While I do think S1 leaves MUCH to be desired both as a light novel adaption and stand-alone anime you need to have the right mindset. Rimuru is supposed to be a normal dude forced into extraordinary situations. Its not some much HOW he overcomes an obstacle but WHAT he is overcoming and HOW it effects him. Ask yourself this, how do retain your ideals of normality when the world is pushing you to be someone else? S2 will do a better job illustrating these concepts. P. S. S1 covered 4 volumes worth of light novel content in 23 episodes. They rushed it and skipped a decent bit. Unfortunately the production wasn't expecting sufficient support to get a S2 so this was the result. S2 will try to rectify that and slow down. Covering 2 dense and impactful volumes.

Are you going to be covering season 2? That's where the real tough stuff begins for Rimuru, but also we get to see the others really have their moments to shine. Also, episode 24 is an important episode if you plan to watch season 2.

you keep moaning about how its too easy. this is the main character op kind. we get you and its the same in all anime, movies etc. they all have a main character and they wont ever loose. we all know its not happening i dont understand why you like to see struggle knowing what will happen.

You'd want to watch episode 24. Episode "24.5" is technically a recap, but it's from Veldora's perspective, which makes it pretty interesting.
Then there's 5 OADs (OVAs) that take place right afterwards or during season 1, and are technically canon ( at least most of them are).

24 is a worthwhile watch, the OVAs aren't that important though so S2 could be continued afterwards.
Though there is a series called slime diaries that takes place after the Orc lord arc that's safe to watch if you ever wanted a slice of life with the cast of this series. It aired between the 1st and 2nd cour of S2 but can be watched at any time onward.

Episode 24 you should definitely watch, but you NEED to watch it from the BEGINNING until the END. No skipping forward and no stopping it before the "Next Episode" appears. I would normally advise waiting to skip forward until after the OP credits start rolling, but at this point it's likely safe to watch the OP as it's the last actual episode of the season. There are two things you should know going into it: 1) it takes place in the distant past, and because of that 2) when the story kicks off prior to the OP it does with actual story beats and not recap, which is why I emphasised no skipping past the OP as you'll cut off something vital otherwise.
As for 24.5, that's entirely a clip-based recap episode, so I would recommend skipping it (maybe watch it on your own time) and going to the OAD episodes 3-5 before hopping into season 2, part 1.

I think 24 is worth a watch, 24.5 is primarily a clip show I believe
