"Equal opportunity without any discrimination."
They define rule.
They twisted definition.
Isn't it sounded familiar in reality too?

There are a lot of people who are alone in th world and I hate the people that have people who love them and they take it for granted! Yeah, the girls their part also made me emotional, in these situations you see the true colors of people.

They didn't show the old man's death. Keeping on my tin Foil hat.

i mean.. it's either hiim or ali. if you were him... would you had lose and accept death? he did what he had to do to survive. although i hate him for being an ass.. if i were him i probably would had did the same if there were zero chance of both of us surviving.

Baiting them into those pairs was so ruthless. The closer you were to your partner, the worse the trade off was. The entire episode was a slow burn and it hurted. Ji-yeong didn’t have to break my spirit like that. I wish there was a flashback for old man, so that I could gain some closure with his faded memories. I need a few days to process what I just saw.

That whole conversation about a trip to Jeju Island was so sad. If she wins she gets like 40 mill, and all she wants is to visit Jeju Island with her family. That's like a $60 plane ticket from Seoul. That was so sad.

After this series is over, I highly suggest Alice in Borderland. It's a Japanese show on Netflix that is in a similar vein.

It's only 9 episodes. It's better to get it done when the show is having a global zeitgeist and interest in it is high, rather than late, after interest has passed.

Sangwoo didn't play an actual game to win the marbles. He turned it into a technical win. In the previous episode, Sangwoo said Ali should call him Hyung, or "older brother". He truly preyed on the feelings of this immigrant. Ali wasn't stupid, but he just couldn't believe that the only Korean in his stay in South Korea that was ever kind to him would do that to him, someone who invited him to be close enough to be called Hyung. The past 5 episodes have been Sang-Woo helping Ali every step of the way, gaining his trust. Gi-Hun has been calling Sang-Woo a genius the whole show, so coming up with a way to turn it into 2v2 (for example vs the Married Couple) so there's 2 winners from 4 people, especially since the choice of marble games are up to the players... it's totally plausible, and understandable that Ali would believe him, given that he has been building Ali's trust this whole time.
I'm still sad that the screenwriter made Ali die like a hurt puppy. :(

This episode made me sob like a baby and I don’t usually cry over shows. Damn, this is honestly my favorite episode of the show. The writing and the plot twists were insane. I’m looking forward to the rest of the reactions.
