Hes not trying to be her dad he is just protecting her because he knows if he didnt she'll go back out and keep doing what she has been doing for the past six months, its sad, extremely sad when you actually realize how serious the show is underneath the light humored banter. Its a great show so far but it did require you to keep an open mind and allow it to develop the story, because not everything is said in a single episode, it draws out the conflict resolution which makes it feel more natural. All in all from what I gather its not a feel good all the time anime, its really sad sometimes

I just can't relate to actually want something serious like that w/an immature minded HS chick, regardless if I couldn't tell her age off looks alone. let alone well it's pretty wrong to me, only considering 1's whims. just b/c a dumb teen falls smitten over you doesn't mean you gotta reciprocate it back, if that's the route Higehiro goes well that's unfortunate some n makes that dude MC look like a bigtime hypocrite for making a 180 how he views taking this girl in. w/Koikimo I think Ryo needs to wake up n smell the roses n at least actually consider that chick he works with as a potential romance prospect n give up the weird stalking n worship he has for a HS girl lol oh wells

2021-05-22 04:24:54 +0000 UTCLook guys here is the thing we sometimes as viewers forget that this are written from Japanese culture not western culture, to give some context in Japanese culture a girl is consider a legal adult at 18, 20 is the legal age to drink but a girl can get married at 16 this of course requires the parent or tutor permission however its possible. Another example of differences from different cultures is the fact that in Asia not is rather common relationship between cousins. I explain this to cases because in romcom anime's this to points are actually used a lot and from a western point of view it might seem weird or creepy but at the same time some western manners might look the same to them, so remember to be open minded it will make the experience more satisfying 😉

2021-05-22 03:39:51 +0000 UTCYo know I actually disagree i find Koikimo Ryo more creepy from the fact that his so willing to go for underage high school girl without any hesitation, Higehiro the MC at least at the beginning doesnt have any interest in this underage highschool girl and acts more mature as he should and treating her like a kid because she is going by their age difference if they ever develop a romantic relationship it will be based on knowing and understanding the other person. But i i dont know i havent reat the ligh novel for Higehiro so indont know where its going. Ill be honest the “romantic feelings” the female mc in Koikimo are not develop very well it just seems like they just coming out of nowhere just because the story requieres it, if she had liked him a little at the beginning i would have believed it but she clearly doesnt to me its just seems like she is just getting swept up in the moment with out any true feelings of love

2021-05-21 23:45:38 +0000 UTCI'm really liking the show so far, but it will absolutely do a 180 if they switch from a guardian relationship. Right now so long as it stays guardian I think I'll love this show just for the wholesome feels, but I will almost certainly hate it otherwise.
