2020-10-31 04:07:46 +0000 UTCHebi means snake Orochi means big snake and comes from a story from the 1800s about a follower of a ninja called Jiraiya who gets taken over by serpent magic and becomes Orochimaru who goes on to fight Jiraiya and Tsunade, as you can probably tell parts of Naruto took some massive inspiration from this story.
