Status Update & Artbatch - Feb 2022

Hi everyone, I'm a bit lost for words, thoughts and prayers never did anything to help, only action or lack thereof. For those of you in Ukraine/Protesting in Russia, I really hope that you, your family, and friends will be safe getting through this. It makes me ashamed that Tsumi Umi is based in a spinoff country of Russia, and the reason it was, was to give Virtue VS Desire (GSIM) a look at a major country not in that games war. It's best for me not to speak about political things on Patreon due to the rules, you're not here for that, and so I'll continue with what's been happening.

I've had to spend more time doing artwork/talking with artists this month than the game unfortunately. So there won't be a game update this month as I've got a lot to do and rushing to release a smaller than usual update would be a waste of time. Instead what I've done to make up for it, is that the 3 comic pages of panels I got done are in the $5+ artbatch. However be warned that only 2 of the 3 pages are clean and the other is in the dirty folder with a warning. I wasn't happy with the comic artist because I was paying extra for semi realistic, and he just kept coming back with anime. When I told him that I was unhappy for being ripped off he went and did a semi-realistic revision of Amika stomping (in the title post there) which was what I wanted all along... but would only do it for that page. That obviously makes the rest of the pages pointless! I've talked to him and will be paying extra for him to redo the 4 pages to actually be similar artstyle to this for $120 because it is partly my fault too for accepting what I thought was his 'limit'.

The other 2 full images are of Amika about to stomp on a crowd, and Tsumi about to crush a lot of sprinkle sized micros with her vjj. Both of which I'll be making small events in game to add to, and I'm aiming to make both Tsumi/Tiny playable as usual. 

Game wise I've been sorting through a lot of voice lines Tsumi and Dani's VA's got me. Dani has 3 more audio logs already put in, and along with Tsumi's lines most are actually dirty if you play without the filter. I've gotten back 18 different variants of food art that I need to animate into the new stomachs for next update. And Garrisen is doing a whole bunch of dirty ones too. I've already updated certain existing images/assets in game (Tsumi's face for example). You can see a joke preview I did to Joey in Discord here for the new animated sushi intro. The words different but you get the general idea, they'll be voiced as well.

Due to being stressed out and behind on adding in a lot of game assets that I've gotten back since Dec. The next update I am aiming for end of March, however after I do the main sushi event/stomach updates to the game. I'll be focusing first on a long overdue Chitsu game over commission, and there are a lot of npc's I need to add in for people's tiers. I might not be able to get your npc's in the next update depending, but if I don't it should be the update after and if you're not a patreon by then I'll send the game to you free with it!

Lastly to make up this month for not having a game update, I'm trying to get the Ajia short story completed and releasing to the $5+ tier instead of the original $10+ as I had aimed for.
