Hello everyone!
We're excited to promote the Ember kickstarter project for the Foundry VTT team!
They've been hard at work on this project for a couple of years and oh boy, do they have a lot to show for it!
What is Ember, you may ask?
Ember is a massive open-world, exploration and adventure game including an epic-length campaign, specifically designed for online play with a Gamemaster and ideally between 3-5 players.
It has all the elements of a traditional pen and paper RPG, with some video game features sprinkled in to better facilitate the Gamemaster's job and help immerse the players into the world.
The map is incredibly huge, with 25,000 explorable hexes, and 1,000 gameplay events... more than three years worth of estimated playtime 🤯
The artwork is really beautiful, the music masterfully immersive and the Vista system is exciting, with a clever parallax effect. Also, it seems we'll be able to create our own vistas for the 30 existing biomes!
It will be available for both D&D5e and the Crucible game systems.
We very rarely make promotional posts but we thought it was a worthy exception to the rule! ❤️
