Studio
Studio76 right next to Karlsruhe, Germany
This studio is pretty neat, but introduces some challenges too.
- Hard to get to, if you are going with public transportation be prepared for a half hour walk from either the bus or the tram to get to the studio
- Free parking
- Large, spacious studio with 2 rooms
- some furniture, including a bed and some props available
- Automatic entry, so no one will bother you
- Snacks are available through an honor system
- Lots of lights, paper backgrounds and for some reason an extreme amount of light stands, but I didn't find any tripods
- You have to assemble and disassemble the lights and the background, so plan accordingly - for me that's 20 minutes at the beginning and at the end
- Good price especially in Germany
- Speaker available, but hard to figure out how to connect to it... we managed in the end
- There is a roof window that can't be closed... at certain times of the day it directly shines on the backdrop, which can be a good thing if that's what you want, but very annoying if you want to use only flashes
EXIF
Gear
I was doing these shots while travelling so I used only one lens.
