We used liquid chalk to paint on Dóri - if you are not familiar with it, it's basically magnesia powder suspended in an alcoholic gel, it's used by climbers as an alternative to the dry magnesia powder. I came across it when I was bouldering and figured I could use it instead of regular body paint... it can be applied in a thick layer that cracks and feels more natural than any artificial cosmetic substance, it's non allergic and it comes down easily with water... which we had plenty of because a storm caught us a half hour later.
