So I drew this before playing SOTM, it was supposed to be a bittersweet bit on the Jackie box song. But after playing through the game, and looking back at this comic it legit makes me sad now 😭

The mimic really did just want David back, I WONT get into the full details of the story in SOTM rn but I will say, I really appreciate the game went as into detail they could with the Murray family and made them way more fleshed out than they were in the books. The mimic itself is like 10 times more horrific yet tragic to me, I ALREADY loved the mimic but the game REALLY just sold it and I’m so glad for that. I’m a mimic enjoyer and I’m glad more folks can understand what’s so special about them!!

This comic was fun to draw out, the mimic really makes me sniffle sob fr fr I LOVED SOTM I hope yall are ready for sm SOTM stuff BAHAH anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜
