When I was growing up, people still talked about Communists as being “The Red Menace.” These days, however, it’s the opposite end of the spectrum that control “Red States.” So, whether you’re a Leftist or a Right-Winger, it stands to reason that someone somewhere feels the need to warn you, and perhaps to warn others about you. And as that discussion continues to polarize us as individuals, groups, communities, and states, it seems like a good idea to offer a little distraction.
Our little studio-lighting experiment with Paige and Katrina included three slide-projections that all relate to our need for warning and protection – either in warning signs or in the resources we make available through our first-responders for fire and medical emergencies.
In hopes that they distract you from whatever socio-political division with which you align yourself, here are two wonderfully generous models willing to center your attention on their protective poses.
