I expect a writer like Waller-Bridge who is so clever and so artful at vulgarity experiences tiresome men who think rudeness is cruise control for humor especially galling.

The rest are either family (father, evil godmother, mother), or go by nicknames (Fleabag, the teeth-guy, the arsehole-guy, creepy stepson).

I’m a foreigner who’s lived in England for a decade. Love English people, who’re generally kind, smart, considerate, etc, but passive-aggressiveness is pervasive.
