There are some things I liked about the live action adaptation (i.e. the integration of information from the novels/comics to the show), but there were more things I absolutely hated (a non-spoiler example is that the Kyoshi warrior makeup is unforgivably sheer). If you decide to do more of these, I look forward to seeing your thoughts on the other changes.
