after sam's murder, you know that if henry had not stopped joel with the gun, joel could see ellie was terrified and he would have gone right over and scooped up that kid in his arms. you can tell both henry and sam's deaths affected them both deeply.

Also ik you guys probably don’t care but kathleen’s right hand man Percy is played by the VA for Tommy (Joel’s brother). I’m sure you’ve been told already this too but all the main cast make cameos in the show. It’s really cool imo
