I think they mentioned that Sara missed so many days of school because people treated her so poorly. Her missing all those days caused her to get held back

2022-11-12 02:26:12 +0000 UTCThey go to gymnasium (high school) wich in Sweden is 3 years. At year 1 (wich the most of the characters go) you are 16-17 years old. Then at year 2 its 17-18 years old. Year 3 is 18-19 years old. In the scene were Sara said she turnes 18 she mentioned that she missed a year in school wich is why she is in year 1! :)
