Everyone probably thinks they hate the Capital the most. You can't really judge who hates the Capital more. They put all the victors through shit. Sure, they didn't kill Katniss' family, but they made her go through a bunch of other shit just to keep her family alive and keep peace in the districts

2023-11-15 07:54:51 +0000 UTCI think there may be some confusion...Gale and Katniss aren't ACTUALLY cousins. That was a cover story for the Capitol because "Why does Katniss keep hanging around this hot guy that isn't Peeta?" So her team lied and said Gale was her cousin so they wouldn't question why they hung out so much...otherwise Gale would be killed for breaking the "Lethal Lovers" image. Victors are kind of like the Capitol's version of celebrities except they are completely controlled by the Capitol government. A gilded horrific cage basically...they never have to worry about food or money again but everyone they love is under constant threat of death and they are forced to mentor other children who may/will die every year for the rest of their lives. There is no winning the Games.
