This fanbase seems to be pretty good about giving the background info from the book. Usially in an excited manner rather than an annoying or mean way. Hope that holds true on this reaction, too.

2023-12-24 04:48:10 +0000 UTCOkay I know I'm super late to this but to answer your question about the leaves in the beginning. It's actually an old hunter's trick. The deer caught Katniss's scent and ran off, so Katniss masked her scent with the fallen leaves to confuse the rest of the deer.
