I was one of the people who recommended this show but I can see how it's not the usual type of show you react to. I'm pretty active on Tumblr and they love it over there, but they also have a habit of recommending shows to people just because they have queer characters. The show does have a lot of subtle humor, I've seen so many memes about it and that's partially what attracted me to the show in the first place.

2024-10-16 19:19:46 +0000 UTCI know it's partly to do with distance as well as being able to hear things he didnt before but the first example of it being him hearing the current flowing throughy the light bulb makes me laugh because I can and do hear electricity running through lights but I'm not a vampire, I'm just autistic 😂

Also the reason they can't drink dead blood is because it's DEAD (would you eat rotten food?) To keep going they need LIFE. So they need to drink the blood of the LIVING. And that's why Louis had that tech special perseverance briefcase for the blood. To keep it at human temperature and keep it moving as though it's in a body. Training Louis Lestat would have told Louis (like earlier) to stop drinking the salesman's blood after a certain point (his death) Makers cannot hear their fledgling's thoughts but fledglings can hear their makers' thoughts, as well as other vampires'.
