If we did company ownership everything in media is owned by like 4 companies so nothing would be allowed in the votes :P Grogu is clearly from Star Wars. Do you believe Star Wars should be considered the same as Aladdin or Lion King or Jungle Book? Do you believe Palpatine should stand side by side and team up with Maleficent in the next Kingdom Hearts game? Doe they also team up with Thanos? These are real questions for Kingdom Hearts 4 because I NEED TO KNOW!!! GIVE ME MORE INFO!!!!!!!!

If they went down the company ownership route, then Nintendo, Disney, Sony, and Activision would be constantly banned. Even studio ghibli distribution rights have been acquired by Disney. Sorry in advance if I made any mistakes, please correct me.
