Between the classes I’m taking and work, I rarely have time to edit anymore, and since this is the longest audio I’ve ever recorded, the editing process was a real grind.
Lately, I’ve been shifting toward making longer audios, and while I know that means the quantity of content has gone down, I want to make sure I’m delivering something I’m proud of rather than rushing out subpar work. Even with this audio, I’m still not 100% satisfied with it, but I tried out layering more effects than usual! let me know what you think! I love you all!
Quick ramble / mind dump for you all, i'm not even going to attempt to make it grammatically correct i'm just going to type what's on my mind.
Fall/Autumn feels different this year. Part of it might just be because it just started, but who knows. This year, there isn't a cozy feeling that I usually get. The cozy feeling of a warm blanket on my eerily cold body. And i'm not talking in a temperature sense. The presence of those fall days where you go outside and breathe in the crisp autumn air, just doesn't seem to be there. My hot cocoa doesn't burn my tongue the same as it used too. Even earlier, the cement that was soaked in the pouring rain didn't give off that grainy petrichor scent. All this could just be in my head, or the fact that I'm getting older. It could be my lack of enthusiasm for seasons changing. Come to think of it, I don't remember the last time I smiled for the sound of crispy autumn leaves breaking beneath my feet. I'm not sad, or at least I think i'm not. Whatever it is, I hope it'll pass. I want to wake up one of these Autumn mornings and have that missing feeling welcome me again.
Also weird thing i want to say. I really really really REALLY want a donut right now guys. like a chocolate donut cause im basic and have a sweet tooth! i love you all im tired im going to sleep mimimi!

Maybe it’s because it’s so hot where i’m at that i can’t snuggle into a cozy outfit or enjoy a hot drink while sitting outside at a coffee shop that makes me nostalgic for an earlier time. or maybe it’s because when i go outside now i don’t have the same joy and excitement of seeing a crystal clear sky with baring trees trimming the sky line. but i really hope it’s not because im losing my childhood excitement for the longing feelings that comes with fall. on another note, thank you for sharing how you’ve been feeling and i hope you can find some time for yourself and continue to do things that truly bring you happiness :) we appreciate all you do for us and the longer audios hehehe :)) ill listen to this beauty of an audio when i get off from work

I think as we get older we tend to focus less on the mundane aspects of life bc we are so caught up in the “adult” aspects. Maybe take a few days off of work (if you can) and just chill. Try and do some of the things you enjoy but haven’t been able to do as often. Might help you get more in touch w the autumn vibes🫶🏻
