Please Vote
Added 2024-11-05 14:56:19 +0000 UTCI know I have a rule here about not doing politics on this page, and I definitely feel like it's an important rule. But as some of you know, I've been working for the last 18 months on an educational project about the Holocaust. As part of that, I've been doing a lot of research on the rise of the Nazi Party and the rise of fascism in Germany. I understand this may cost me subscribers, and there may be people that leave, and I am fully accepting of that. But I am endorsing Kamala Harris, and I'm really hoping everybody that sees this message will go and vote for her today. To me this race is no longer about politics. It's about what it means to be an American and what it means to be free. And I truly believe that Donald Trump is going to push us into fascism. And it scares me badly. So especially if you're in a swing state, please go out and vote. And I promise this should hopefully be the last political post I ever make on this page. Thank you.

I hadn’t seen This post until today, and I was excited to see the push to vote, but then I saw the endorsement and made me sad. I believe actions speak louder than words and Both have a track record in leadership of this category, and one has show to actually care about the people of this country, and the other has shown she doesn’t and lies threw her teeth about how much she cares, and been caught in those lies repeatedly. Despite this being made post election, I believe the best choice for the country has been made. If anyone were to look up the definition of a fascist or dictator would see that Trump is neither. But in fact the Harris is just that as well as a communist. And I don’t wast to see this country become like Venezuela. On the subject of the rise of the Nazi party, to see which candidate is more likely to be like they were, simply look at how the Nazis took power. The easiest way to do so is to disarm the people. which party wants to do that to the American people? I believe Trump is a big supporter of the Second Amendment, even after getting shot at.

2024-11-05 15:23:51 +0000 UTCI do very much agree my husband and I have been in preper mode due to the way of the world ( big reason why we moved out to the country) we are not quite tinfoil hats but voting is important and know who your voting for is very important. We have a small joke ( kind of a joke ) that Donald would be the first dictator if able or sell us off to russa or china
