Weekly Update!

Some new signs of life from me. This week, I’ve been working on Ren’Py improvements to give the project more structure. These changes might not be instantly noticeable from a “gameplay to gameplay” perspective, but they’re making a big difference in how I write my code, keeping it cleaner, easier to edit later, and more approachable when I inevitably need to tweak variables or make adjustments. I won’t get too technical, but let’s just say that clean code is going to be very important moving forward.
As always, I’m making sure these changes stay backward compatible. That’s part of the planning process, and I think you’ll notice the benefits as you play through the earlier parts of the story.
Speaking of the story, this week I’ve also been putting more work into the plot. With some extra time on my hands, I’ve focused on keeping everything coherent and as entertaining as possible. I’ve also been spicing up the NSFW scenes with new filters and effects, thanks to recent testing.
So yeah, having more time really helps polish things up! It also gives me a bit of breathing room… though tomorrow I have to wake up early for a very busy day. That’s just how it goes!
