Captain's Log 12.04.2017

(This post is usually only viewable by $5+ patrons, but I though it'd be really cool to share this experience in more detail with all of you) Yesterday was an amazing day! I was so happy and full of energy from my accomplishments. So, a little side story - last month I started a new anxiety medication to help with my social anxiety. (I've never been to the doc for my mental health so this was a big step for me.) Long story short, it has helped sooo much, it just took some time to adjust to the side effects. So anyways usually my anxiety would cause me to stand in my own way with opportunities like these, but yesterday was a magical day! As you guys know, I was asked by Carl King to voice Arcana Thrice in the Adult Swim style cartoon, THE ORACLE OF OUTER SPACE! So yesterday I flew to LA to record for her voice! We ended up choosing a sweet, thick southern accent and I feel like it went really well! It's got a fun and flirty vibe with a touch of sassy and crazy. Carl let me play around with the voice and even get silly with her lines! I really felt like Arcana Thrice was just living inside me waiting for her chance to shine! It went so smooth and felt so natural to me, I would have never known about the joy of voice acting if it weren't for this project and I'm so thankful that I was given the opportunity the try out a new skill I didn't even know I had! I truly hope you all will watch the pilot episode and support it by sharing with your friends. I promise I gave it my all and put as much personality and life that I could into my character! I'm going to push my hardest to get the word out so I can continue doing her voice, because there's nothing I would want more than to continue being Arcana Thrice and to keep her character alive! I can't thank you all enough for constantly supporting me and believing in me. Every day I learn more about myself through you guys and it means the world to me that you guys are along for the ride!
