Dungeon Break I

Hi everyone,

It is finally ready and I'm pleased to share the first part of my new series "Dungeon Break" with you!

This part mostly focuses on Jess who is the main character of this work and Aqua/ Jane who is one of the magical girls I introduced in my teaser post. Coral isn't featured in this part, but I have a lot of fun ideas planned for her later - so please stay tuned!

I had a lot of fun with the different scenes in this one and I hope you can get a good idea as to where the story might go. Since it is the first part it mostly focuses on setting things up, but I also wanted to include many of the elements such as energy drain and body modification that will continue to develop in future releases.

Jess has always wanted to be a magical girl.. and she finally gets her wish.. even if it's not quite what she had in mind. It turns out she doesn't just like magical girls. She REALLY likes them.. and a certain Daemon takes advantage of this.

I had a bit of trouble learning the new software, but by the time I got to the end of this part I felt like I was getting a lot better at using some of the tools. I hope you feel like it has increased the quality of my work - even if just a little. I'm aiming for a hybridization of doujin and CG art styles, so I want to include more panels and in-scene cut-ins as I get better and continue to develop my personal style. You'll notice I'm using new comic effects and onomatopoeia in some scenes as well!

Now.. something else that's super exciting!! I started talking to mod creators and I've got a few private mods being made for this series and also for use in Eldrain when I return to it! The tail photo above is the first mod that's been completed by A-Fan. A-Fan does a lots of clothing mods, but this was his first attempt at something like this. I think he did an incredible job and I can't wait to use it in Dungeon Break. It's going to look a bit different, but I don't want to spoil too much lol. (The only hint I'll give is "Cell") Please check out his work!

WHATISIT made me a couple costumes over the summer that I plan to use in this work.. but I've had to swap some elements around. Parts of the Daemon and Jess's transformation use pieces of the original outfit. The full outfit will be on display in later parts.
