Anti Anxiety Herbal Steam / Herbal Bath

Good afternoon moon babes! The energy has been hectic for me recently and it seems that a lot of us are stressed out and anxious about a lot of things we are facing in life currently. With stress creeping up for some of us I wanted to create a steam blend we can utilize to bring our cortisol, stress, and weight off our shoulders if even a little bit. This herbal blend is for a steam bath that you would traditionally breathe in for 10-15 minutes but you can use this blend in a bath, in spell jars, boiled down into a floor wash and door wash to keep the energy in your space light and stress free, or ground down into a herbal powder and used in all of your spiritual workings.

Things you'll need:

-Ashwagandha

-Passionflower

-Valerian

-Lavender

-Lemon balm

-Chamomile

-Ginsing 

-Ginger

-Turmeric

-Stinging nettle

-Something to boil your water

-Blanket or towel

-Holy water

How To Cast:

Cleanse your space spiritually with either sound or incense smoke, something that clears the energy from your space without whipping it entirely clean and leaving no energy left. Something like lavender, jasmine, cinnamon, ect would be really good. Cleanse the space from the back of your home to the front and out of your door. You also want to cleanse your kitchen really well as you will be prepping this herbal steam blend in there and doing the steam either at your altar or kitchen table.

From there gather all of your herbs and tools, cleanse your hands with holy water and the pot you are going to boil all of the herbs in. Making the herbal steam is fairly simple. We are utilizing water that we will program to aid in calming energy and also the spirit of the herbs above. Take your pot and fill it up with water from the tap, praying that the water aids in removing and pushing stress and anxiety away from you and your home. Pray to the water that as it heats up, boils and streams that the steam relieves all weights, fears, and troubles from your mind.

Gather your herbs one by one and pray over them, speak your specific anxieties and worries over the herbs and push your energy and hopes into them. From here once they have all been added combine and stir everything together with your hands. Leave the herbal mix out of the water for now.

Put the pot of water onto the stove and bring it to a boil, once boiled grab your towel/blanket and your herbs and sit down. Put all of the herbs into the water and stirr with a spoon letting the boiling water start to heat up the herbal blend. You want to place your face over the steam with enough room over the pot so you do not burn yourself from the steam or lip of the pot and place your blanket over your head and pot so you can breathe in the calming steam. While you are under the blanket relaxing, recite the spell at least 3 times and stay breathing in the steam for 10 minutes.

SPELL:

Spirit, ancestors, and guides of my highest good please free me from the shackles of this stress, 

Remove all anxieties and lurking spirits from my space.

Renew a sense of calm, an unshakable peace into my space and life.

I pray that you give me the strength and tools to move through everything I face every day.

I thank you for leading me every day even when the path is bumpy,

May the spirits of the herbs and water clear any Apprehension, unease, 

Restlessness, all worries and concerns swiftly off from my brain and aura.

I thank you for aiding in this spell, so mote it be.
