Last year was a big grief year. And it’s made all the other grief come back a little. I went to record the song I wrote for @graemebalchin a few days ago. I have sung it live many times but when I went to record it I choked. I was stalking our old messages and found this painting he did of me before he left. He had me laying upside down in his garden to get the angle right and a bush turkey walked through my hair at one point. AI is amazing but I am not worried at all that it will ever replace human art. It’s the memories and the experiences and the person that makes art worth anything at all. The rest is just decoration. I guess all this to say … I won’t be putting that recording up just yet. But I am still singing for you Graeme x
