I wonder if because mermaids are so accustomed to the saltiness of seawater how they'll enjoy sweet stuff like peaches.

Hi all, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm gonna keep going through the MerMay prompts despite it already being June. Not the first time that I've fallen behind on this art challenge, but this is I think the first time that I've fallen that far behind on it since I started doing these every year. May not have helped that I decided for whatever to have these two as yet unnamed mermaids as the recurring characters, which does complicate things a bit for me with figuring out what and how to do posing and composition with two mermaids rather than just one.

Obviously, I don't need to do this, but the completionist in me demands so and I'd rather be late than give up. And heck, that just means you'll get more mermaids from me!

I'll try to get this done through this month (ha!) so I can go back to regularly scheduled (ha!) MerMondays.
