Portrait Study Process
Added 2021-03-31 14:23:51 +0000 UTCProcess of a daily study which took around and hour. It went pretty well considering I haven't done portraits in a while, and I hope to keep doing them semi-daily in the upcoming period. Here's the final result:
Something to note is how crappy the likeness is in the beginning. I've noticed that, with my portraits in general, the likeness tends to be very weak until near the very end, and I've learned not to stress over it and to trust the process, so If you have a similar problem, a big part of overcoming it is just sticking with the painting :)
