Creatuanary 2 - Bloodsucker Dragon Process
Added 2021-01-03 19:41:59 +0000 UTCThe process for this painting was a lot more streamlined than the last once, since I had a much clearer idea of what I was going for and thus wanted more control over the way the creature turned out.
As with most paintings, I did an hour or two of quick pencil studies, getting familiar with dragons, bats, and even a few gloves, just to fill up my visual library and prepare better. I find this to be a great way to work - it makes studying more meaningful and the carryover to your actual work much more tangible!
