Medieval helmets
Added 2015-11-03 02:30:53 +0000 UTCI have an upcoming Equestria dreamscape posting that has some ponies wearing some rather sinister looking sets of armor. To get myself in the mood for doing the art for that posting I decided to do some rather quick sketches this afternoon of various Medieval European helmets. In particular I was interested in sallets and barbutte style helmets. This is was the result of those sketches.

I remember as a kid visiting the weapons and armor wing of the MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art)in New York.
