This story was a struggle. Between life being a bit of a bear and trying to work with this story concept, I found that I was having a hard time getting it to a point where I was happy with it. In the end, I ended up needing to re-write my initially planned ending, and redo a good chunk from a different POV. I'm still not completely satisfied with it, but sometimes that's the way it goes, and it's at least a story I'm happy enough to release. That all said, I feel bad for how late this one is, and to make it up to you all, I'll be doing a bonus story for you all.
