Contest Winners Chosen!

Hey there everyone!

Big thanks to all who entered into our latest contest! We had lots of neat designs to pick from, and the end result was super close! Most of the entries were separated by no more than 3 points overall on our scoring system. 

In the end, after much hemming and hawing, we're pleased to announce the following:

The runner up is AuroVee, with Maggic! 

Type: Psychic/Dark

Description:

Known as the Show Stage 'mon, Maggics are wandering showmen who like to perform magic tricks, but they are more likely to cause accidents during said tricks. They are about 3'6" tall, with an even gender ratio and a medium fast experience curve. Not much can be seen of a Maggic under their white robes with wide sleeves and their black top hat barring their orange eyes and grey gloves. They also have a very light grey cloak which seems to be much too long for them as it drags on the ground behind them.

A Maggic can evolve into Margon after reaching level 20, and then into Markon - the Vengeance Showman 'mon - after levelling up with 20 or less Friendship. They always have Magic Bounce as their Ability.

At Level 8, a Maggic learns the Signature Move "Show Flaw", a Special Dark-Typed move where they try and perform a magic trick, only for the trick to go wrong by 'accident' and damage the target as a result, while also lowering Friendship. 

Once a Maggic evolves into a Markon, they can then learn "Purposely Flaw" - an enhanced version of "Show Flaw" with a higher Base Power and which increases friendship instead, mainly as the Markon intentionally makes the trick go wrong to damage the target.

And in first place, we have Luster, with Knightmare! 

Out of the moonlit mist steps the spectral figure of a tall, proud horse, clad in full plate barding, its body formed of shifting fog, its mane, tail, and hooves wisping away into nothingness. This is a warrior, a 'mon born for battle, its 'armor' as much a part of it as any dragon-type's scales, the intricate etchings and embellishments as unique as a zebra's stripes. This is a Knightmare.

To Knightmares, dreams are as real as the waking world. The dreamscape is where they are born, live, fight, and die. They stride between dreams, shaping them, taking up arms for or against the dreamers, figments, and ghost-types that that inhabit the dreamscape. Most tales tell of menacing Knightmares, but there are great and valiant ones, too, champions of children and the oppressed against the monsters and fears that assail them.

In the wild, Knightmares emerge into the waking world but one night a year, in foggy places, on the last full moon of autumn. Rare is the Trainer who can catch them, but they might choose to accompany one they trust, facing their foes by day and guarding their dreams at night.

Knightmares are always female, mating in dreams with their chosen dreamers (of whatever species). Born as young, unarmored fillies (a Knightly), they evolve into Knightmares when first they find the courage to stand in the face of an overwhelming foe. Though their personalities and causes differ, a Knightmare's valor and resolve is unshakable.
