Highly likely he will, according to past evidence: he may not release the chapter until 2-3am Tefler time (which is 9-10pm EDT). If he doesn't make it, he delays getting 5000 dollars by one month, which is quite a strong incentive, in addition to reader expectation. He also normally makes a comment by this time if he does not expect to post a chapter.

Tefler is one of the most prolific writers I have encountered, producing a high-quality, cohesive, and engaging story. Consider how long fans have waited between George R. R. Martin novels, and how long we have been waiting for his next one. Tefler delivers on a radically accelerated time schedule, with fantastic story and character development. I for one have nothing to complain about, and I will enjoy the next chapter whenever it drops. Keep up the good work, Tefler, and ignore the whining.

As a fan of Fantasy/SciFy/Non-Human stories I have encountered many great writers here in SOL and in Lit. Many of those writers after a while just stop writing in the middle of the story because they burn out, others find themselves trying to meet a posting schedule and as the story develops and gets more complicated their chapters become smaller and smaller or they start loosing detail and quality. Tefler has written a story that is 123 Chapters long with an average of 20k words per chapter on a pretty consistent schedule of 15 to 20 days per chapter. The few times that there has been a delay he has been either sick, dealing with family issues or going on vacation with his kids. So lets remember that our $1, $2 or $5 patronage is not a salary, he doesn't work for us and he is not required to stop his life in order to meet a schedule. I rather wait to get a chapter of Tefler's quality when he is inspired and can concentrate on the story than to get a cookie cutter chapter because he needs to meet a schedule.

I cancelled my Patronige for a couple months due to iffy chapter scheduling and when I came back I got one chapter. If he said one chapter by so and so date, I'd be happy. Saying a date and uploading a week later is very annoying. Might as well wait on SOL or till he's done with books

When they have done so and Tef has made any amendments then it is ready for posting. Completing the chapter is something else again.

The UK has the same latitude as Canada. We get more or less the same weather all year round. Winter is mild and wet, and might freeze one year out of four. Spring is mild and wet, it rains at night and is warm all day. Summer is mild and slightly wet. Autumn is cooler and wetter. It's only been the last 10 years when climate change is really started to bite. We build our homes to be water tight, to keep out the wind, and to retain as much heat as possible.... and for five of the last six years, we've had the coldest, hottest, wettest, driest month/season on record, each month and season... So no. Basically no one has a/c, and basically no houses are set up to take HVAC, because we all have thick insulated walls, and barely adequate central heating, with copper pipes in the walls, wall haunted radiators and double glazing. This country isn't designed for this level of heat

Air Conditioning is actually as new an invention as automobiles or planes. 1902 for the first AC, 1903 for the first airplane, and 1885 for the first car. Cars and planes caught on faster, mostly due to transportation needs and wars that made them move from luxury items to necessities. AC's remained a luxury for almost 55 years after its invention.

Actually, requirements of AC in homes is mostly within the industrialized countries with more tropical climates above and below the equator. MOST northern States in the US, for instance, do not have AC as they don't need it except for maybe a week or two a year. For example, parts of Minnesota today had a high of 72 in the middle of summer. You cannot justify central air for that. And frankly, as cheap as they are making window units, the condensation does loads of damage to your home due to faulty manufacturing techniques.

I know it's a narrow point of view but honestly, it's not something you'd really think about all that often is it? How many houses in the world have electricity? How many have indoor plumbing?

I find it amazing that we see chapter by chapter with so little rewrites. My very limited amount of published fiction had me going back again and again to the early sections to fix problems I created for later. Cudos and hat off to Tef, his editors and a great story board. Love your work team.

Oh, and readers should remember that Tef does not possess the powers of John Blake. No psychic and enhanced researchers, assistants, computer geniuses to power his writing. No Faye or Little One. No psychic communication among his helpers. Were Tef to have the powers of John Blake he could dictate to a supercomputer that would translate his outline into chapters in a minute or so, send it around psychically to the whole crew of editors for another two minutes, translate it to Maliri, Kintark, Vulkat, Brimorian, and Trankarian within few minutes, and transmit it to all of women linked to his three matriarchs in another minute or two. It would probably take Irrilith a minute to two to set up a billing and accounting system to process billions of orders Sorry folks, Tef has to do it the old fashioned way.

I really dislike it when people do the nudging and commenting and complaining and even demanding to Tefler about his writing schedule. Almost every chapter of this book gets more complex because Tefler is putting together or updating all of the strings in the story and doing it in a such a smooth way that you can miss how difficult it must be to tell a story fully (or simultaneously 100 of them). My favorite chapter is 100 because of its complexity and completeness (and he even took the time a new crew member before decimating the Kintark). Since then most of his chapters are getting more and more complex as he ties more substories and themes. Obviously, each takes more time but the development of the book is just about perfect. Heck, could you dominate two Progenitors and repair the Invictus in a week (writing time)? Let Tef take his time. It is always worth the wait.

Appreciate the updates but really my main focus are the chapters. Given the books and chapters from other writers that I wait for seem to take months or years TSM/Tefler turn around is impressive. Tefler's been making very complicated chapters which require a lot of time to cross-check things so that plot holes don't get made. So he's been posting chapters more slowly both due to that and due to a heat wave that hit London and slowed his progress down even more. A new one should be coming out soon so you'll have more up on Lit to read. It's just a dollar per chapter effectively, and even less if you consider that joining now would give you access to all of the previous chapters (1224, 123, 122, and before) without paying more than a dollar if you then have to cancel. He's probably also making sure that his newest chapters don't require him to retroactively change 122, 123 and 124 to keep plot continuity because there's a lot of shit hitting the fan ATM.

The length of time from her first betrayal doesn't really matter but Shanryl just stepped all over the budding Maliri/TFed alliance. Including prior acts of assistance by the Maliri it's a done deal except for the lap dances. I'd be willing to bet that after the last Admiralty meeting and the summary elimination of a dissenting foot-dragger that not one of the admirals will complain about consulting, timing, or paperwork. The equivocation doesn't really scan for Irillith or any of the other Lionesses, none of them did anything even close to aiding and abetting the destruction of an entire fleet along with the systematic murder of the survivors. Edit: broke free and missed the appropriate Comment sub-thread.

Traditionally, chapters get posted as close to midnight as physically possible. And it's 1700 right now. Best case? Another 7 hours. Worst case? Right after you land... In an airport with no WiFi.

well, Friday has been OK in the UK but Wednesday definitely wasn't, overnight Wednesday into Thursday was at least unpleasant. hardly think his timeline was unrealistic and he should have looked at the weather, and its just being used as an excuse.

Meanwhile, IRL, Tefler posted a highly unrealistic timeline for producing two chapters by the end of the month, at a moment when there was a clear forecast for a UK heatwave. Why did he do this? I don't think he needs to produce two chapters for the money, as he gets more than three times his target income from one chapter, so his motivation must be reader expectation. I therefore think that he was aware that there was an excuse (hot weather) for the delay ahead. The UK has now had cooler days since the 23rd (Friday, and Wednesday was also not too bad), demonstrating the unrealistic nature of the original schedule. In my view, this behavior is driven by the artificial agenda of the monthly Patreon payment schedule, which influences patrons and creators alike. It is totally awesome that Tefler can write two chapters a month for this amazing story. I do not expect to receive them according to Patreon deadlines: if one month I get one, and the next I get three, no big deal: why has this become such a big deal?

I hope we get a bit more clarification about how Tom's fighter was sabotaged. Having flown a lot while in high school, I have a hard time picturing any pilot getting up in the air (or out in space) without going through a startup checklist and verifying system's integrity. That fight was the only thing I did not enjoy about 123.

In essence, she attacked her house and the Maliri by abandoning her post and weaken their forces. She is a traitor. Treat her like one.

Well, if we get to speculate, then I guess I should first repeat my previous suggestion. Beth is alive and she is the master mind behind the traitor’s betrayal. Second, if more than one is allowed, chapter 124, focuses on the attack n Olympus. Third, Dana will realize they always had a way to make Faye into a ‘real girl’. Finally, Admiral Lynette will be forced into revealing her post-Attack on Terra look.

I actually think she is gone for good for the next 10s of chapters, otherwise the stakes are thrown out of the window and there is no feelinf if suspense, remember when jade died and john just brought her back? I think pulling this move once is enough in a series and doesnt need to be repeated, the new nymphs are already being trained to fill in fayes rolls, and most likely little one will grow as a character aswell

Man, Terrans can't catch a break. I see the following happening: The Gladiator fetish progenitor shows up, gets defeated handily by speed and experience and strength rather than power reserve attrition. The black metal of the ship is turned white by them christening the ship with a big round of sex or perhaps more specifically, fluid exchange. In chapter 38, Jade offered John a drink of water and gave it to him by mouth. It turned into one of those searing kisses. "Unnoticed behind them, the hull of the Invictus was shrouded in a faint nimbus of light, the radiance centred where the amorous couple had been kissing. It slowly faded out of sight as the group walked away, leaving the jet black hull glistening with a dark sinister lustre." So there is hope for these progenitor vessels, but my guess is they need to FULLY convert it to white metal. They might find out by accident, but nonetheless when time is of the essence they will likely commandeer this black Progenitor vessel in order to teleport blam right into the Brimorian fleet, mess it up, and so on.

It was reported that there was only one known survivor, so unless she was in the traitor's pod that the Brimorians rescued, i don't see how she can still be alive.

it's pretty certain the shit will hit the fan. i'm 100% certain Tefler has been researching both shit attracting fans, AND fan seaking shit for the last 124 chapters...

While I celebrate the impending release of 124 I am skeptical that we will see 125 by the 31st. That gives Tefler only 8 days to make Grammatical changes to 124 as well as send the first half to editors, get their feedback, incorporate that feedback, and write the second half....which is neigh to impossible. The man is a prodigious writer, but given that, 8 days just seems a bit short. At best I would expect a partial chapter on the 31st with several additional scenes added later. Unless, of course, Tefler has been writing both chapters in parallel, which is entirely possible. What that means for us, most likely, is the shit is hitting the fan and instead of doing it all in one chapter he is splitting it up as it would be double chapter in length to do it all in one...which I don't mind. Just don't be shocked if the finish of 125 spills over into August.
