Don't count on it, Tefler already said he was only planning on doing two chapter this month (not that I can blame him, what with ebook 2 and the holiday...yeah, okay, I can' TOTALLY blame him - who cares about getting the ebooks out right now when the story isn't even done yet - but I really shouldn't...right?!?).

Loved the artwork, but there's scope for improvement 1. As the overwhelming majority pointed out, the worn-out look is a tad too much. I would recommend the artist add patch/repairs on the worn out places, it should look a bit mis-matched but will give the worn-out look perfectly. 2. In the year that John's living in, i'm sure he can find a strong enough cleaning agent to rub off any smears or stains on the floors and walls. We have hand held lasers that can burn out rust from surfaces in 2017!!!! for crying out loud. 3. I remember John saying that he bought the expensive new seats when he got his new ship, so the seats shouldn't look as worn-out as the rest of the ships while have superior padding for comfort. The ones in the artwork looks like he got them from a junkyard! 4. The smear/scratch(?) on the top-right of the cockpit window looks out of place and weird. 5. Alyssa looks gorgeous!!! Hats-off to the artist. But she looks a bit too 'real' compared to the rest of the ship, in my opinion. Talk to the artist and see if he has any comments on that. Im guessing he used a real pic of a naked girl in the artwork. 6. Also, when you cover up Alyssa, remember that she didn't have any clothes except for John's old jumpsuit which is a bit larger in places for her. Just my two cents! Eagerly waiting for the next chapter.....

Yup, I agree this is an amazing pic. The artist did a GREAT job. But..... I also agree, that John's OCD would not allow the interior to be that abused. I can go with stained deck plates, walls, and padding. But the tears and rips would have been repaired in some fashion. Probably not taped over, but maybe patched up neatly?

I like it with one exception. John, being the meticulous clean freak he was, would never allow the gouged insulation in the wall or the wear visible in the seats to stay like that. It just doesn't fit his character at the time. Other than that very minor issue, I really like it.

The windshield is smudged! I'm surprised John would let that be! On a more serious note, very nice. Too bad we can't see Alyssa's eyes. Maybe you can alternate between this artist and the one who did Irillith and Tashana. Both are very skilled.

I just asked for a worn look when I gave him my preliminary sketch and the brief. The Fool's Gold is an old ship, so perhaps they were hard-to-shift legacy stains. :-)
