Reminds me of a Joke, Man goes to the doctor with orange and purple spots on his dick! Doctor says "We have to to amputate!" Man responds "What, no way!!!!" and storms out. While driving he see a herbalist shop and decides to get a second opinion. He walks up to the shop keeper and explains what is going on and that the Doctor wanted to amputate! Shop keeper replies "No need to amputate" the Man sighs in relief! " Then the shop keeper continues "It will fall off in two days!"

That is Correct. However with the space on the Invictus I have already been thinking that with the new Projen Power Couplings and with Dana Building more power cores that part of the retrofit would be to add 4-6 more Nova Lances if space provided. That would give them almost continuous fire capabilities. If I remember correctly, Nova Lance Firing Cycle is 10 Seconds charge, 10 second Fire, 30 Second Cool Down = 50 Second Cycle time. With 6 you should be able to provide almost continuous fire. If/when Dana is able to figure out the Quantum Flux Cannon a couple of the Lances could be replaced with Flux Cannons. Also with Sakura in the MECH that provides a hell of a mobile battle platform Wondering if Dana could create a “Mini Nova Lance that is only 10M Long for the Raptor and Valkyrie or like Jedi Kahn has speculated that the Drakkar weapons are mini- quantum flux cannons that get the Dana upgrade and the Sakura cooling would be awesome in a large battle. First with the speed upgrades on the Valkyrie and the power and plating upgrades it would be one big surprise. And we still know nothing about the BSP enhanced Drakkar shields. Given the possibilities I can see the future of the Invictus II. A little bit off because Dana still has to figure out the info she learned from the Legacy and the chemistry involved, however, I think that she will have no problem sucking that info out of John. I can see the Invictus II being the same length as the Invictus to provide the same maneuverability, however, cylindrical like the BSP ship - have a feeling this has something to do with the worm hole drive. Like the Legacy had a FTL Drive and conventional engines, I imagine the Worm Hole drive has some limitations on usage. Enough for now I am sure that Tefler already has a great plan, this is just fodder for us junkies to debate. Thank you Tefler for providing such a great platform to spark our imagination.

Good Point from Lit comments - Sakura cooling the weapons, that would be a great justification for the MECH verses another Raptor. as pointed out, she could have some very big weapons that would otherwise be unfeasible that she could allow for a steady rate of fire on such a small platform for something that would normally be on a Cruiser class ship.

Master Laurent report that the internet was originally developed as a system that could survive a nuclear attack. I wonder whether John's telepathy can do the same with Alyssa (i.e., impregnant her with a thought). This way his memories survive for his next reincarnation. John can already change their bodies by thinking, why not make babies the same way, like a backup storage drive?

We're all still waiting for that keystroke-by-keystroke statistics monitor...(we don't need to see WHAT you're typing, only THAT you're typing...well except we'd need to see the difference between typing textual -vs- destructive keystrokes...so letters/numbers/punctuation are a + and delete/backspace are a -, with Ctrl-X and Ctrl-V adding and subtracting the # of characters in "bulk operations"...) ...so we addicts of yours can cheer your typing and oooh and ahh at the deletions... ;-)

i just realised that Alyssa is in a sense someone who wants to become john and rivals him, or who she sees he could be. yet endeavours, in her own mind to be his perceived equal. while also being unable to from her chosen perspective, while holding the greatest power out of all of them, and still because she is herself she is not one to move against john. john is fragile like a cracked crystal flute, and the core of who she chooses to be is aimed towards holding him with a loving strength. however her sexual rivalry with him that they revel in (him unconsciously) compels her to recruit, that rivalry has become a bond that gives and takes from both sides. he finds wounded birds, she recruits them and nurtures them while he rebuilds them. after all he asks most of them 'are you sure' and they have usually already decided thanks to Alyssa and her recruits emotionally priming them. there's more i thought of but i have to go, and i know that she is deeper than this. oh and parts or all of some of my comments go poof when i press enter. so... here goes... crossed fingers press ENTER
