Chapter 75 - Status update

Just a normal weekend for me.... wake up at 3am... check my phone ... "Oh Good, the new chapter is here". Get out of bed and fire up the computer and spend the next hour and a half working through Chapter 75. Sleep is for the weak!

Here I was hoping to wake up to a new chapter.... Dang Nabbit! Now what to do while I wait.... hmmmm.... read other comments? Done. Reread last chapter? Done. Reread Rule 34? Done. Dang! I'm running out of things to do!!!

Tefler, waiting on you to advise us when you get the edits back and tell us when you can reasonably release the new chapter - today, tomorrow, so on. Hope it helps with the noise level here, LOL!

Tefler is probably working on a side story about human torture, split personality and addiction withdrawal and is using us as test subjects.

The immediate conditions are foggy with a chance of delays and continued disappointments. Unfortunately our weather instruments are lost amongst the fog and until the chapter arrives and the fog lifts, we cannot issue any further useful forecast information. So, over to sports!

Jesse, It's always on the brink of coming out, and then Tefler releases the next chapter and things calm somewhat. I have thought to myself repeatedly of rationing my reading of the latest chapter each time they release so I can make it to the next a bit more intact but I gave up. I really don't have that kind of self control.

As much as I'm looking forward to the new chapter, and as it is likely I'll be strung up for being a wet blanket.... unless his editor is Faye, they may have taken the weekend off and won't be getting to the last part until Monday, sometime.... just a thought... a dark, evil, Progenitor-style thought, but still...

Personally don't think that's a good idea. It's extremely tempting, but we need to beware the observer effect. Artists need space and privacy to do their best work, and that would start to encroach on that space alas.

A person can hope, right? Since I just started my work shift, I was hoping to have the new chapter to read instead of twiddling my thumbs all night. Besides, I just checked the time in London. It's almost 3 am there, so I'm betting Tef's long since in bed already. Unless his editor replied in the last two hours and Tefler's gotten absorbed by the editing work.

@tefler This is something you are perfectly in your right to adamantly refuse. Would you consider creating a donation level which allowed us to be CCed in with the editing and drafting process? Not for assisting you in your writing but purely to access the story and its creation progress sooner.

Pff's at JK, we all need to sleep, better to wait a day than burn out stressing... remember Tefler is an artist who happens to be wonderfuly prolific and giving of his time to us for updates. Art will always be art and it will ebb and flow. :) Rest well and know your well thought of Tefler :)

I've edited the first two parts, and have done the first pass of part 3. I need to add in a couple of scenes, and I'm waiting for one of my editor's notes, so it will either be late tonight, or tomorrow when I'm done. :-)

I suppose the reason why you haven't posted part 1 yet as a teaser is because it ends on a bitch of a cliffhanger and you don't want to be the focus of our indignant rage, however righteous it might be?

And we've dropped to $1424 per chapter for some reason. Still at 850 patrons, which makes our per patron average $1.67. At the current average, we will need 898 patrons to reach the $1500 goal. Hey, Morningfrost, if you're around, what's the betting pool look like so far?

I suspect that after the new chapter is released, if Tefler holds off on releasing it to the general public for at least a week, we'll see the numbers bounce higher, especially if everyone likes the new chapter as much as I think that they will!

Yes that happens every month but after a few days they are reprocessed but we've been on $1400 for ages now in previous weeks the amount rocketed upwards but not now I'm not sure it's because of refused cards this time I think it's just tormenting us lol
